Good Idea or Bad Idea?

This month, our Ontario government will pass a law that will make talking on a cell phone while driving a car, against the law.

Explain in a written paragraph your opinion on this issue.  Should the law be tougher and include other things to be banned while driving as well, like eating while driving, working the radio etc. Or, should people have the right to answer their phone if they are responsible and watch the road.

To develop a passion for something, we often can rely on our friends for ideas or new ways of thinking.  Books and reading aren’t any different.

Your paragraph must include these details:

1. a brief summary about your book.

2.  Would you recommend this to another class mate

3.  What kind of reader would like this book (is there an another series or book that it is like?)

4.  Rate the book out of 10

Angle Homework to be completed in math workbook.

  1. Draw an acute angle of 70 degrees.

2. Draw an obtuse angle of 130 degrees.

3. Draw an acute angle triangle with: 1. one angle of 120 degrees and another of 20 degrees

4. Draw an obtuse angle triangle….label all angles.

Bonus:

5. What 3 angle degrees would be needed to make all angles the same and all the sides the same length in a triangle.

Let’s Get Crackin’

Include:

1. Name of egg protector  2. Cost $  3.  Catchy phrase and slogan, or a short poem/ jingle.

4. Selling Features: Great things about your protector, what makes it special and what makes it unique as an egg protector.

Need to have: variety and interesting colours…your product must stand out from the rest of egg protector competition.

Commercial portion of the assignment:

Use the information from your ad to go in your commercial. **Remember** You need to make a investors or customers want to buy your product.

Imagine a place where we can all imagine and believe in all life’s possibilities no matter where you live on the planet.
