1.Create an array of 14 cm x 11cm.
Answer:I found my answer by putting 14cm up then I put
11cm down so I counted my units and added them together and my answer added up to a total of 154cm.
2. Answer the following 16×13 using our strategy of breaking the number apart in parts.
Answer: 3×6=18,3×10=30,6×10=60,10×10=100
18+30+60+100=208
3. Use this mental math strategy to solve this question
(example: 12 x 15– 12×10=120, 12×5=60, add together and get 180)
A:13×11 B:21X11
Answer: A:10×10=100,3×10=30,1×10=10,3×1=3 Total=143
100+30+10+3=143
B:20×10=200 10×1=10 1×1=1 Answer 211
200+10+1=211
